This country doesn’t need far right or far left leaders. It’s need centrist leaders who can bridge the gap between the psychos on the fringe.

Sadly fiscal conservativism or even a balanced budget is extinct. So wild expensive ideas like “Medicare for all” and “free college” get traction. Add to this cutting taxes until infinity and we wonder why we have such a huge deficit.

So they’ll find a way to make it look like their ideas are being paid for or make it look like tax cuts follow some wonky economics to generate more revenue.

Meanwhile the deficit increases.
