A man who threatened a prosecutor and a sheriff involved in the Georgia investigation of former President Donald Trump for election interference was indicted in federal court on Monday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

The man, Arthur Ray Hanson II, of Huntsville, Ala., had left threatening messages to Fani T. Willis, the district attorney of Fulton County, Ga., and Patrick Labat, the county’s sheriff, for their involvement in the Georgia case over the 2020 presidential election.

According to the indictment by a federal grand jury in Atlanta, Mr. Hanson called the Fulton County government’s customer service line and left threatening voice mail messages for Ms. Willis and Sheriff Labat in early August, days before Mr. Trump and 18 of his associates were indicted in the state.

In a voice mail message for Sheriff Labat, Mr. Hanson threatened the sheriff to not take a mug shot of “my President Donald Trump,” according to the indictment.
“I’m warning you right now,” Mr. Hanson said, adding that Sheriff Labat could “get hurt real bad.”

Mr. Hanson also left a voice mail message for Ms. Willis in which he threatened her and referred to the Georgia case.

They don't believe the scientists reports about global warming and the danger to our environment.

They didn't believe health officials and scientists about the dangers of COVID. They don't believe any COVID vaccine is effective and safe despite research.

They don't believe our justice systems and FBI telling us that Trump was treated justly and fairly in all his indictments.

They don't believe reports from major media outlets and they don't think the teachings from higher education is good for this country.

They don't believe that Putin is a real bad guy who is the unjustified aggressor in the attack on Ukraine.

They don't believe all the former Trump supporters such as Bill Bar and John Kelly and Michael Cohen and countless others who say Trump is a lying narcissist.

They don't believe all the Republican election officials and courts that say Trump fairly lost the election.

But TRUMP............ they believe!?

How dare you just come out and say it. Our right wingers like to dance around these beliefs repeatedly without actually admitting them by name. These dances go on and on for many pages of many threads.

I think right wingers need a right wing holy book to consolidate all these beliefs. Some of them like global warming is a hoax date back to Rush Limberger. Some of them are relatively new like covid is the flu. The Putin adoration was a belief founded by Trump. Trump is like the messiah that came recently and can do no wrong and is without sin.

Remember, when Republicans read this, they think ‘yeah to solve this we need more guns.’

Have you noticed that a good chunk of Republicans are on the record saying Trump is morally debased, unfit, a criminal and a pathological liar before 2016? The latest being the new speaker of the house.

one of these two things must have happened:

1. Trump turned the corner and became a decent human being.

2. All these GOP politicians have debased themselves and turned into mini, pathetic versions of Trump himself to retain power and $.

that's why Kennedy wrote 'profiles of courage' mostly about people who bucked their political party. It takes a lot of guts and spirit to go against your party. All credit to Romney and Kinzinger, who are among the very few Republicans able to actually say what they think, rather than just repeat what Trump thinks.
