Well, Epstein saying to G. Maxwell that "[Trump] knew about the girls" is certainly being "implicated." But implicated as to what?
It seems like everyone is moving the implication goalposts around quite a bit. The goalposts seem to range from evidence showing beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump (or anyone else) committed a felony, to evidence suggesting Trump (or anyone else) contemporaneously knew of Epstein's crimes, all the way down to Trump's name (or anyone else's) being "in the file." That's a wide range of behaviors and judgments, and presents great opportunity for strawman, hypocrisy, whaddaboudyou, and disingenuous commentary. We've seen plenty of that already.
If we ever do see all these Epstein files (which is unlikely), with respect to Trump, my guess is that there is a good amount of evidence to show that Trump was aware of the crimes Epstein was committing (probably because Epstein told him) and Trump didn't care enough to do anything about it -- we may already have that with Trump being "the dog that hasn't barked" and that "he was aware of the girls." And there will also be quite a bit of embarrassing stuff that Trump doesn't want people to see -- like topless women sitting on his lap, lecherous comments he made, etc.
It's wild the only evidence you guys have his Epstein & Maxwell's word. Do you see the irony in that?
Any word they do have is unclear and mysterious. You'd jump off a building if it meant Trump loses.

Like this stupid sh!t above is what I meant by strawman and disingenuous comment.
Haha. You are, though. Do you know the definition of honor? : 1. High respect; great esteem. 2. Adherence to what is right or to a conventional standard of conduct.
You certainly must respect this guy's opinion or you wouldn't reference him as a credible source of true testimony. Correct? It would be real silly if you were trying to make an argument for someone who you didn't esteem, respect or believe was adhering to what is right in some way.
So yeah, you've honored him here. Learn the dictionary, gymnastics guy.
Ultimately, unless you were at the island witnessing, or saw video evidence of, Trump literally molesting a child, it's all political propaganda. Same goes for everyone else despite the amount of evidence, not redacted and enigmatic, disparate email leaks.
What we do have evidence of is Biden and the showering with his daughter. That's pretty weird. But, I don't really make it a habit of discussing pedophilia on a regular basis like the liberals who are obsessed by the topic do.
Mark Epstein hasn’t had any run ins with the law, has he? You could attempt to make a case why you find his statement doubtful.
Your argument was that I was jumping through "mental gymnastics" to say you were honoring him. I proved that you are honoring him. Do you agree?

It's not though. Do you really trust these people? You call Epstein disgusting and evil, yet you point to his word as the truth. How can you not see that?
Do you not see that your only reply is anger? You don't have a logical counterpoint. El Raton.

I have seen it and more or less expect it. I do not accept it and think it’s everyone’s job to claw back out from such expectations.
A realistic understanding that things will never be perfect (or even nearly so) does not have to involve a resignation about such things. There are always levels of better and worse, and I consider it everybody’s duty to strive for the “better” part and to demand it of others.
Because the President has a demonstrated history of lying more and more brazenly than any other politician, every political victory he has achieved has done more to embolden the worst behavior of every other politician. And you can clearly see that in the way that the Democratic Party is worse today than it was in 2015 and Republican Party is worse today than it was in 2015. That, as much as anything else, is the president’s legacy.
Very well said! Thank you.
The "all politicians lie" trope, while almost certainly true, is typically employed in a deliberate attempt to mislead--which is one definition of a lie. It's used to suggest that all presidents, and politicians in general, lie as much as Donald Trump does. But he made more than thirty thousand documented false or misleading statements in his first term: an average of more than twenty a day. He is vastly more mendacious than any other POTUS of my lifetime.
Well said and explained.
There are different kinds of lies too. A promise on the campaign trail that is not later fulfilled is a very different kind of lie than a sworn Certification in response to a subpoena that says "a diligent search was conducted" and "any and all responsive documents accompany this certification" when there are at least 17 boxes of responsive Top secret documents remaining in your bathroom.
Trump couldn’t even stop the Epstein files. He’s not getting the Constitution amended and he’s not going to get to become Speaker of the House and have the new President and VP resign to get him back into the presidency. He’s a lame duck.

"Only" 40% were criminals - illegal immigration https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/16/us/catholic-church-immigration-trump.html How the NYT defends it: The agency said that 70 percent of arrests were of immigrants charged with or convicted of a crime in the United States. But an analysis of federal data by The New York Times shows that fewer than 40 percent had a criminal conviction, and only about 8 percent had been convicted of a violent crime. So "only" 40% were criminals. Their numbers were so far off!
Trump socialized with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, but he severed ties around 2004-2007 after learning of Epstein's predatory behavior—banning him from Mar-a-Lago and ceasing contact well before Epstein's 2008 guilty plea to soliciting prostitution from a minor (the first public conviction tied to his pedophilia). There's no documented proof of continued socializing after that point.
After 2007, zero photos, flight logs, or witness accounts show continued socializing. Trump declined Epstein's island invites. Giuffre (recruited at Mar-a-Lago in 2000) accused Prince Andrew but not Trump of abuse, and her family disputes Trump's 2025 retelling as implying prior knowledge. No law enforcement has accused Trump of involvement in Epstein's crimes.
This is a decent account based on what we know, and I don’t expect the files to indicate any prosecutable behavior by the president.
We have numerous other accounts of him being pretty disgusting about women, including very young women and underage pageant contestants but nothing criminal and less salacious than much of what you’ll find in the files. And there are multiple credible accounts of him severing ties with JE and cooperating with investigators. It’s hasty and irresponsible to attempt to strongly accuse him of more without clear evidence. I think the worst-case revelation in the files for him would be another salacious detail (no, not along the lines of the garbage that’s been speculated on in the past week) or perhaps another contact or two after he’d apparently cut all ties. Maybe stronger hints on the “knew about” point. Nothing like outright criminal behavior.
Will there be anything that maybe even shines a light on him as even better in helping investigations? I wouldn’t rule it out, but it seems unlikely.
I doubt he’ll come across as one of the worse offenders, and I think there will be fairly little clear evidence about those worse offenders. Probably little info to serve the interests of justice all that well.

I generally agree. The most damning stuff for Trump (assuming the DOJ hasn’t already destroyed everything with his name on it) will be evidence that shows that he was aware of what Epstein was doing and still hung around him prior to their breakup. Why would Trump care about it? He’s someone who bragged about barging into the changing room at his teen pageants, walking up to women grabbing them right by the p-ssy and said that he’d be all over Ivanka were she not his daughter. Our great leader!

Well thought out response. I agree for the most part. He has certainly said some crazy things about women (nothing criminal). As an athlete when I was in school, I've heard much worse in the Men's locker room.

It is well established that the worst lie ever uttered by a human being was that “the border is secure” by Biden.
You can take all of trumps hundreds of thousands of yearly lies and bundle them together and the group total would not match that one in audacity and sheer criminality. Even the Genesis lie by the serpent can’t hold a candle to that one.

Biden showered with his daughter. Is this acceptable?
You realize these are very old men from a different generation, don't you? When beating your kid with a belt was considered normal. Vietnam era guys. Crazy guys.
Lastly, the proof suggests he cut ties with Epstein years prior to his first conviction indicating he was not aware of what he was doing nor continued hanging out with him. The cryptic emails are inconclusive. I do believe Epstein had motives to smear Trump.
