You know, for all of the jokes on here about it, Trump DOES do a lot of winning. I just read the GREAT (well, he might have spelled it GRATE) things he just said about Johnson. Every Trump endorsement/compliment wins AT LEAST the following awards:

1) Most likely to be changed.

2) Most likely to be changed a perfect 180 degrees.

3) Most likely to be laughed at and viewed as 100% insincere by non-followers.

4) Most likely to be completely believed by his followers.

5) Biggest delta between #3 and #4.

6) When #2 INEVITABLY happens, most likely that neither Trump nor his followers will internalize the really negative things it displays about Trump's judgement, honesty, etc.

And here's hoping that if Johnson does become speaker and goes along with anything with the Ds, we can perhaps see new speed records for #1 and/or #2 above !!!

You have to give trump a measure of credit. I have never seen a person with the ability to get others to willingly sully their own life reputations the way he can. Take Elise Stefanic. If you listen to interviews when she was first elected she was totally normal. Even a rational moderate Republican. And it looked like she could have been a decent politician for her district. Maybe a rising star in the party. Yet at the moment that she went all in for Trump, she turned into a lying liar that lies in the most pathetic manner for Trump. It's as if they are always speaking to an audience of one. Why? Is it a thirst for power? Why do they have such fealty to a guy in such legal trouble?

It is a mystery to me.

And as a bonus question - was Joe in office when the loan was paid back? (spoiler: the answer is no) Paying a private citizen back is...bribery. You know why we call you the stupid party, right?
