How does one define the "Trump doctrine?" I don't like Vance's defintion here. It overlooks the basic fact that Trump is antagonistic toward the press and vice versa.
A better question is: Did Biden have a Doctrine, and if so, what was it? His presidency was manicured and marked by absence from the spotlight, with a few exceptions. He was not a good speaker. It was all very old-school in Eisenhower, Ford, and Dubya way...we were allowed to think of him as an idiot, but there was more going on behind the scenes.
A lot of people think Biden was simply a mouthpiece. Trump is a mouth. That gets closer to the Trump doctrine than Vance's take.
