Yeah, man is built different! If you mean running 140km a week and still being worse than he thinks he is. Best moment of 2025 for me so far was seeing a guy from these very forums sirpoc84 on his 105-10km average and in his first marathon embarrass your boy. It's amazing shills or fan boys for guys like Bester actually care enough to come to these threads and big them up. Desire to get the love and adulation from semi serious runners who can't be fooled, but never getting it. Very similar to over on the Norwegian thread recently and the Matt Fitzgerald fan club invasion.
Whilst these ego maniacs still care this thread will never end purely as it's so funny to see them scramble around to scratch and claw to get that love they desperately want, even more than YouTube clicks.

But I will say that Nick is a real top dude from seeing him out and about. He even signed my best athletics kit after one of his big Parkrun sends. Also there’s no denying he’s a talent - he was seconds away from doing 3 sub 15 5ks in a row in as many weeks. Genuinely don’t think any other influencer has ever achieved it.
As for his training plan - the results have been marvellous for me. Gone from a 5k PB of 31:02 (16 months ago when I started the plan) to a new PB set 2 weeks ago in a race of 28:12.
Let’s just try and be kind here and not so cruel. Maybe just don’t say anything and don’t watch the channel of someone you don’t like
I just watched Bester’s most recent upload. I understand all of gods race footage is essentially like this, but what do the other runners in close proximity to him think about being constantly filled by people on roller blades, bikes etc.? I can’t help but feel it’d be kind of annoying and May throw some racers off psychologically.
I don’t mind Nick’s content from a viewer’s perspective, but I can see a participant being a bit down on his schtick.

Just admit you have been bang out of order, seem incredibly jealous of Nick and move on
2 additional ranking points could have been achieved by reducing the 16 months to something more realistic but equally rage-baiting like 6 months, and making the improvement something that someone might actually be proud of, while still being well beneath Letsrun’s standards. Like, 25 mins to 22 mins.
