I think it has slowed somewhat, but housing inventory is tightening. You do see plenty of cars from California and Washington, interestingly not Oregon. This particular story came from the selling agent’s mailed flyer. I have had both agents and individuals come to the house to ask if I would be willing to sell. I tell them “I plan to croak here.”

Igy come on the texas grid stopped working because its gummint didn't take measures to keep its gear from freezing. Everything froze. Not just wind stuff.

Hope Gente is OK. Getting hit pretty hard. Much of South Texas is electricity dependent, since air conditioning needed a good part of the year. When I lived there, naturally no significant wind or solar, and much came from a nuclear plant.
We had natural gas in our houses in Brenham and Kingsville. Our McAllen house was all electric. From what I am reading much water damage from frozen pipes.
