Love him or hate, one thing is indisputable, this president and his administration is the loosest with the truth of any in modern history. So why haven't you developed a little bit more caution and skepticism? 1) I worked for less than $4/hr at times.
2) I worked 12+ hour shifts for 7 day week
3) I did not receive overtime.
4) I worked in poor conditions. It's freaking construction grunt work. Snow, rain, cold wave, heat wave...all sh!tty conditions. Your supervisor/foreman cursing at you 24/7.
5) Spent the night at worksites to save money on travel costs.
6) Never paid in vodka, but when the company couldn't make payroll, I was paid in other forms (food and building supplies).
Not saying these guys weren't treated badly, but if you haven't worked a blue collar job, you may not fully comprehend the job.
I have held a blue collar jobs (my first pay rate was $1.75/hr), and not receiving overtime means you and your co-workers were fools. You willing allowed your employer to break the law. And guess what? Once you let them do it, they do it again, and other follow suit.

But, what you need to see is that working for substandard wages is exactly why people like Trump hire illegals in the first place. Why pay the legal rate, when you can blackball people and force the willing to work for lower wages and often, not get paid? The result is the same: stealing jobs from American workers. And yes, Americans workers undercutting the law are guilty of the same thing.
