I don't know if you realize, but Trump's (failed) policies are the primary driver of inflation over the last few years. Apparently pumping trillions of dollars into the economy to compensate for your son-in-laws incompetence has consequences.

Gas prices were around $3.00 per gallon (national average) for most of 2018 and 2019. They're around $3.30 per gallon now and were around $3.50 per gallon in 2012 / 2013. Of course, I have an EV so gas prices aren't a concern. Too bad Trump didn't do more to make EVs more affordable during the four years he was president. What a missed opportunity.

Why didn't Trump kick Russia out of Crimea while he was President? And what was his response to ending Russia's invasion in 2022? Painting Chinese flags on F-35s. Can Trump even find Russia on a map?

Trump fatigue is Real!

Trump is the one arguing that DC has been too tough on the 1000+ white insurrectionists that committed felonies in DC on January 6th.

While homicides in DC spiked in 2023, assaults with a dangerous weapon are way down over the last few years and robberies are pretty steady over the last 10 years or so. Car theft has increased in the last two year, but that's largely due to nationwide increases in Kia and Hyundai thefts.

I also live in a city in a blue state. I've experienced zero crime. DEI hasn't taken my job - mostly because I'm competent enough to be promoted frequently. My taxes haven't budged as a percentage of income (my property taxes even dropped over the last few years).

So, why is your life so bad? What did DEI cost you? What crime have you experienced? Are you actually paying more in taxes?

Trump's policies contributed to massive increases in the national debt, and are the main cause of the high inflation over the last few years. Who would have guessed that printing trillions of dollars to make up for putting your dysfunctional son-in-law in charge of the COVID response would have consequences? Or demanding $2000 per person stimulus checks as part of your campaign. Not the mention the TRILLION dollars Trump's trade war with China cost the US economy.

I agree that Obama should have done more to kick Russia out of Crimea. Trump should have as well - if you are so concerned about "the world" being "on the brink of WW3". But, he didn't.

The S&P prices are absolutely relevant to the middle class - most of whom have retirement accounts and pensions invested in stocks. Fortunately, wages have grown faster than inflation (despite your lies to the contrary) - especially over the last 18 months. Most of those wage increases have benefited low to middle class workers - the exact ones that you're worried about not being able to take advantage of the gains in the S&P 500! So, it looks like everybody is winning!
