Okay, when Agip started tracking these certain sectors and tech started lagging in the fall, I immediately thought of Traffic's version of 'John Barleycorn Must Die' which is a modern adaptation of a sixteenth century folksong which foretells a kind of medieval prohibition of alcohol as personified in the cultivating a main ingredient of beer and whiskey- barleycorn.
A classic song, and i bet you guys are familiar with it.
But i thought, no way this tech is going down.
As the song plays out:
"There's beer all in the barrel and brandy in the glass
But little Sir John, with his nut-brown bowl, proved the strongest man at last"
And not far fetched at all when you consider how addicted we are to tech and the web. Same thing, really.
That aside, there's not much i enjoy more than our old friend Levon Helm or those Elton John classics like Igy referenced.
