Trump's base has already whittled away. Some called his "base" what was polling at over 50% in the Rasmussen poll, but now that poll is down to 43% the last I looked. If his "base" is just the people left, then his "base" will always support him at 100%, because by definition they do. His base has shrunk. Those who call themselves Republicans has shrunk.

They supported Nixon up until they didn't. Same will be true here.

According to the story there is multiple forms of corroborating evidence. Assuming that is true what do you say about that? Is that not physical evidence?

If the report shows conspiracy by Trump I don’t see 90% of Rs still supporting him. Sheep are sheep. Once the other Rs in Congress start turning so will R public.

The story is that there is corroborating evidence. The question is whether the story can be corroborated which the writer has said he's not been able to do.

In terms of Trump's political support, unless a good many Republicans in Congress believe that continued support will cost their own political life, I don't think they waver. It's possible enough could but I wouldn't count on. The other political issue at play is in regards to Trump's electable-ness in 2020. While polls are against him now, I'm not sure there are enough Republicans who'd vote Democrat in a national election to swing the election to the Democrats. Arguments can be made against this theory but when push comes to shove voters stick to their Party affiliation.

Unfortunately for you, no he didn't. The what is very carefully worded statement mentions merely that the "description" of the statements Cohen made along with the "characterization" of the what would be corroborating documents are inaccurate.

"inaccurate" can mean anything from no statement and no documents to statement but no documents to any other spin you'd want to put on it.

If it were completely false or fake news, the counsel's office would have worded it as such.
