I get why people are expressing shock at the use of the noose and such given the real historical significance. Great point. It's a complete double-standard in our society, and it's terrible. Liberals can say and do anything they want without consequence. Meanwhile, if a conservative simply states their beliefs, the liberal media will pounce on them and attack. For example, the liberal sports show ESPN First Take were talking about how Dak Prescott made comments about respecting the national anthem and not kneeling. They got all over him about how he's just a puppet to Jerry Jones. Like, they could not believe someone would have an opinion of their own that didn't fit their liberal agenda.
So, now you have a society where conservatives basically stay quiet for the most part due. (not quiet on Election Day though)
