Don Ritchie did this course in 10 days 15 hours 25 minutes solo for the record in 1989.

He seems to have been on 49 miles for a long time now, I notice that there is "Castle Caravan Park" very close by, maybe they can regroup and maybe take up all those offers of Garmin watches that Dave can wear to silence the doubters because that would be so simple and logical it would defy credulity not to.

Even Rob Young wore GPS watches with cadence tracking, OK he did his absolute best to try to stop anyone seeing the cadence data but eventually Ross Tucker got to see it

KP Kelly did 100 miles in 18 hours while carrying a 60 lb pack. Now that is a real man!!!!

Then when he refers to the 100 mile run that he did in training, he says... "I made the decision to stop at 62 miles."
