I am against the Trump executive order for temporary and indefinite ban on travel. It is so obviously been handled poorly from the start when it included green card holders.

It is a bad policy and seems to me a political move to feed his base more than a real concern about security or would have included the nations where citizens have killed the most Americans. However, I am not for open borders. I am for a balance between security and helping innocent people who would needless suffer or face death for simply being born in the wrong spot.

Statistics like these posted are just dumb. They fail to take into account scalability and intent. There is a real problem with jihadism in the world and when people throw out these types of statistics it makes me wonder if they understand that. So, yes, we need to vet refugees, which we do. Yes, there are other reasons people kill people.

There are risks to allow refugees to come into the country. We live with risk every day. I am all for letting people in like Faisel Al Mutar and Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
