told ya from day one, don't just believe everything that Kara the drama queen says ( and several of you did). she did very little about it until others came forward, suddenly a tv interview...big surprise. some things "seem" to have certainly been exaggerated by Kara, based on Al's account with some fairly good proof to back him up.

how clean everyone is may be an unknown for quite some time, or forever, but Al answered A LOT of accusations with facts, not just his opinion.

How much of this is believable though?

Nope, not detailed. However, I saw that this thread suddenly went from 24 pages to 23 pages, meaning that posts were delivered. I looked back and saw that, in addition to the post that the other person referenced, one of my previous posts was gone too. There was also a post by Concupiscurd that was removed.

Isn't hilarious how the brojos have used their site to taunt Salazar about his lack of response. Anyone with any legal experience could tell you it takes time to prepare the proper response to accusations, particularly as many as has been boasted about here.

I have basically stayed out of this as I suspected it was a witch hunt. Alberto seems to have explained just about everything and included references and back up documents. As a lawyer, I find his explanation credible.

I have been coming on letsrun for over ten years now. I am not on the message boards much because I am a grown man and most of the stuff is completely asinine. I am a big track fan and this is a good site to find out information, links etc. I have noticed the amping up of drug accusations over the years on the site and the slide toward smearing NOP.

I think the Brojos have shit the bed on this one. I don't know why any first rate pro-runner would trust them with anything after this bullshit.

I know for a fact and have witnessed new NOP athlete Shannon Rowbury using an inhaler all last year and she openly denied it recently. Why? Because she only got on it when she made the move. Cam Levins fessed up though. Its not known by many but only by ones who race and are in the warmup areas but tons of athletes have inhalers or thyroid problems... I feel like if you need that stuff to be an elite then maybe your not an elite. We should bring it back to the old days, athletes competed naked. No new technology, or supplements, just what the body can do on its own. ok maybe keep balls and tits from bouncing around, could be fun to watch but ouch.

It was apparent they were not really objective from the get go (Cook gets a QOD and triple the font size of Bob Williams). Then today Rojo comes out saying he's not sure this changes anything, partially backed by an argument he makes that only shows he hasn't actually read the full article and emails.

Are there still questions? Sure there are. Does Salazar get a free pass on any existing or future legitimate issues that arise? No. But, I'm at a loss how anyone can read the email backup and not reach the conclusion that Salazar completely shot down two of Magness's big claims (predisone/Dusseldorf/Mayo Clinic and the pills in the book). How can nth at not at least somewhat change "something" about the way you view these charges and the objectivity of Magness? For Rojo to actually say he's not sure it changes anything shows he was either speaking without reading or completely biased.

Hmmm? I don't recall writing this, but if I did it was in the Fleshman piece that I pasted and put in quotations here. I've never made those claims.
