Looks like Ogilvie is scoring for Jesuit again, though he’s still not quite where he was last year

Oakmont is usually a rust buster race plus Ogilvie has been out for all of track season so his fitness isn’t entirely there yet. Abbott also hasn’t had a great day either but still sub 12 or low 12 mins on the Oakmont course is nothing to scoff at all. Strangio ran an 11:40s on that course
Jesuit might be a little screwed early season until the Bilodeau transfer hits. They did win the invite but Vacaville looked slightly better at their home invite. It’s early in the season tho so who knows what could happen
Not sure about the rest of state D3 Boys, but Beyer looked really good last night at our little 4x1.5 mile relay we put on. I feel like they are looking good to unseat Oakdale the SJS D3
Watch out for Mt. Carmel boys and girls San Diego D TWO. Opening hawt.
Redondo Union looked very solid and deep at the Saddleback cup. 8 guys total under 10 minutes.
Trabuco Hills second with 4 guys under 9:50 in the varsity race. They had a 9:53 guy in the JV race.

Also their sophomores went 1-2 in 9:13 and 9:15
Whatchu know bout Bartle runs, going sub 10 this year
That Jaxon Northcutt kid from Mt Carmel is edging close to Kenan Pala’s CCA course record
The use of SJSGlaze’s name in this forum is crazyyyy
What do you mean by that tho

Just watched a video documenting Holly Barker's X-Country season last fall. What she and many other runners did at the beginning of the season is irrelevant. It what you do at the end.
Watch the post Woodbridge interviews and the listen to what the third placer says. Something about going to NXN. She didn't qualify for NXN.
My last little rant on this. A Madera South girl ran mid 19's at Clovis and then 18:06 at state.
I mean, according to the Oakmont results, Whitemeyer is now at Folsom. Oakdale really lost their low stick

Deledonne wins… hopefully he doesn’t injure himself again before November
Nice race from Jace Deledonne of Poly. Last year he ran 14:15 at Woodbridge and 4:12 this past spring. Looks like he is learning how to race. Last fall he lead the Clovis Invitational and the Southern Section final for about a mile. You could tell he was running to hard and I believe he DNF' d those races, I couldn't find him in the finish results.
He has a lot of talent and could be a dark horse at the end the season for NXN.
my instincts say that they made the cool breeze course shorter than what it was last year.
Hart boys team looks ready to go for woodbridge - every other top boys team in that race still needs some fixing up to do to prepare for woodbridge / clovis
Deledonne is talented so he needs to focus on staying consistent. But the talent at woodbridge will completely out match him. I hope he can break 14 but no promises there.
