US cases down 44% from peak

UK cases down 60% from peak

ISR cases down 20% from peak

US deaths down 7% from peak

UK deaths down 10% from peak

ISR deaths down 19% from peak

France, maybe the worst vax rollout of the rich nations, continues to climb in cases. and deaths. Although not at a particularly high level, so tricky.

The world is down 30% in cases, 5% in deaths

US holding fairly steady at 1.3m jabs per day.

I think they may have to expand the target group into the 50+ers sooner than we think , esp when JnJ comes online soon.

Today Georgia will pass 1 million receiving at least one dose. Slow going.

I'd like to see what the percentage of appointments being filled is. Are we at 100% capacity, 90%, 110%? I've haven't seen that reported.

I also wonder what a model where there are hard target dates for groups to get vaccinated would do. Ex: Health Care workers and 65+ only until 2/15. After 2/15 it opens up to 50+ too, 3/1 40+ are eligible, etc.. It may create more of a sense of urgency on both the public health end and public end to get it in arms. Right now there seems to be little urgency.

Biden also needs to up his 100 millions shots in 100 days. We are trending way above that - 122 million.
