The government has been shut down 18 times since 1976 for a total of 125 days, excluding Trump’s shutdown.

The Dems are responsible for 98 of those days compared to 27 for the Republicans.

And the 3 longest shutdowns belong to Dems - Clinton, Obama & Carter.

Let’s start with her not having said anything factual. She has opinions which are not supported by facts. She claimed no one has the facts and that the “facts” she found are more accurate than the left’s. If you paid attention her question was answered, we should care about foreigners who immigrate here because we need them to feed our economic machine and they have American children. It’s pretty simple.

She also cherry picked her “facts” like saying that immigrants that came decades ago were better off than today’s. While that may have been true for a short period, it has not been true for most of our country’s history. Her view is that our policy should be different but she leaves out any obvious benefits of the existing policy. So she really had no argument, just a half-baked opinion.

Nope never said that, reading comprehension might help... I said the wall ain’t effective in solving the immigration “problem”. By the way, the millions that come get jobs and what they give back is cheap labor to employers who don’t have to worry about paying benefits either... they are making our country wealthier, so cut out the bs about sucking the tit.

Well tomorrow will be the first missed paycheck for a lot of government workers. I wonder if both sides are sweating right now or if they're both so confident the other will cave. Kinda sucks because a lot of the people not getting a paycheck are the people that actual do something useful, like manage food stamp programs and keep our national parks open and clean. Meanwhile Congress will have no problem back-paying itself for what amounted to a nice extended holiday vacation
