it's like wrestling. The bad guys are always more popular than the good guys because they are outlaws and free spirits.
That's why ma'gas don't mind the crimes, hustles, impeachments, indictments, obvious felonies. They *like* that their guy is a bad guy. Makes them feel more of a man. It's a classic appeal of an autocrat. He's above the law, gets away with crimes when the referee is looking the other way, and m'agas absolutely want to be on THAT team. Obviously not the team of mild, boring, rules-following Democrats.
agip, you should remember that there are tens of millions of people who agree with you on everything above (and more) who aren't Democrats. It's not NEARLY as many as it ought to be, but.....still, the opposite of M*G* isn't Democrat.

A surefire sign that you're at rock bottom: You can type, "(Biden has) us on the precipice of nuclear annihilation," and your credibility doesn't go any lower.

agreed the indies have at times pushed back from the m'aga dream. Good on them. And a few have left the R party because of Trump. Much honor to them.

The Dem congress virtually ended child poverty in this nation.
Then the Rs come into control of Congress, end some programs and real quicklike decide to reinstate child poverty.
They are currently trying to destroy the FBI, IRS and US Military. I think they may succeed.

Catherine Rampell @crampell holy moly, child poverty rate rose from all-time low of 5.2% in 2021 to 12.4% (!!!) in 2022, reflecting end of temporary child allowance and other programs.

It ended in 2022 because like Republicans a few moderate Democrats didn't want 3 trillion dollar deficits and 9% inflation in perpetuity.
