If you listen to real experts on the IRS and those that monitor the IRS, you would know that funding the IRS produces a huge windfall by catching obscenely wealthy tax cheats. Each dollar spent brings in as much as $20 or more in back taxes but more in preventing these billionaire cheats from stealing future tax money. The IRS is the only agency that produces a profit like that. that is profit for us! the US citizens.
This whole "Defund the IRS" is right wing propaganda paid for by the billionaires through the GOP and Fox news out to poor people like Newname to post on message boards that it is a super duper great idea.

Well we have plenty of evidence that Trump wanted the IRS to go after foes like James Comey and McCabe. And that is just from one of his chief of staff who he didn't really favor sharing his most debased actions.
But none of that negates that the public campaign to "defund" the IRS is from billionaires that have a much greater interest in keeping doing what they are doing.
