When you look at Harris v Trump it's - Trump 47.4%, Harris 47.2%
When you add RFK Jr. it's - Trump 43.8%, Harris 46.7%, RFK Jr. 3.4%
Almost all of RFK Jr's 3.4% is siphoned off of Trump.

If there was a strong negative correlation between Harris’ and RFK’s polling numbers, as you claim, then the slope in RFK’s polling numbers would change between the middle of July and beginning of August (mirroring Harris’). They do not show such behavior.
Rather, RFK’s numbers seem weakly anti-correlated with Trump’s.
