My first language is not english but i can understand everything
Only the self employed, non professional runner i cant understand he really mumbles
Maybe a me problem
He seems like a nice young man. I don't think he's overly confident and admits being introverted.
I think he's taken the leap from auditing to being a running coach (online, of course). So, the video is not completely out of context.
I do, though, wonder who is using his coaching services. I don't think he's been running long!
Yeah I like his instagram reels, he seems like a good lad. Not sure what direction the YouTube is going but will give it a chance while he figures it out. Hopefully it won’t turn into another Ben is Running where he just takes everything every shoe brand offers.
Just seen the latest Bester video. Wow - insane 3000 metre time. Was averaging a pace of 2:55/km! Thats actually insane. Think we all dream of seeing km speeds in the 3 let alone 2. Was so lovely seeing him and the Dad of Reuben having a lager after too. Impressive to be that quick whilst still boozing and bantering. Legend. Boom shakalaka indeed.
Also love FOD channel but not sure I'm keen on the video titles having massive spoilers ion them. There was no tension in the latest 5k race video as I already knew his time & that he had PB'd by the video title name
Not sure why Welsh Runner gets the hate. Seems nice enough to me. Plus his most famous thing is for doing something nice (stopping and helping that marathon runner). He is also insanely quick. Such a natural talent but shame he keeps picking up injuries

What the **** are you on about, get a grip man. He would have been hammered by the top ladies, as it was he was thrashed by an under 20. Go and do some research.

Welsh Runner (and his missus) only pop up with a video when things are going well. He ran a bear PB on Friday and had a video out within 12 hours
Interesting… I’ve not heard of this before? Interestingly, it’s the only one that’s come up with the right GPS length (not that that’s a reliable metric!)… Hereford comes up short and Battersea was very long!
I’ve picked races to do that all have distance certificates so I’d hope it’s legit!
Obviously it’s early in the season but according to Power of 10 he is 9th in the UK in V35 age category for 3000m. Obviously the earlier poster was exaggerating massively but it’s still a decent time especially since he’s coming off some post marathon downtime. It would be interesting to see how quick he could get over the distance but it’s never gonna happen for “content” reasons.

he's 9th in the UK for V35 because we're only in May. BMC's are barely underway, Watford Wednesdays are just starting, Wimbledon 3000 hasnt happened yet, most open meets will be in the coming months.... and it's his 5K pace
Continuing the new feature on this sub which I will sporadically post over the next few weeks/months. Lots of big match ups of 32 ‘influencers’.
*****Earlier matches on previous pages. Will collate the first round results when all matches played to see who has made the next round (so still time to vote) ******
Culminating in the crowning of our favourite YouTuber. We like to mock and laugh at many on here but who do we actually like? Who escapes our ire and gets to be crowned champion. Vote either up or down depending on your choice.
Round 1 - match 9/16.

Today I listened to the Believe in the Run podcast so you don't have to, after last week's disaster of a LMNT ad interspersed with stories about head lice, the ads are now clearly pre-recorded. Smart move! They're also selling their Summer Grit Series hard, for $54 you get access to a Strava Group and a T-shirt or a tank-top and a dunce cap Believe in the Run Hat! They say they cap this at 2,500 entries and it sells out, so that's $125,000. Plus the gear they give away is sponsored by, you guessed it, the runfluencers collective favorite brand: Asics. Meg is also going around the country on the Asics tour this summer.
With the YouTube Music app, enjoy over 100 million songs at your fingertips, plus albums, playlists, remixes, music videos, live performances, covers, and hard-to-find music you can???t get anywhere else.
Speaking of Asics, Ben Parkes bought every Asics Running Shoe and gives his thoughts on each of them in this week's episodes. He bought them with his own money, and it cost a whopping £1,535 ($2,079).
Speaking of previously Asics-sponsored influencers: Kofuzi doesn't seem to be on the Asics tour this summer. Perhaps they've tried of him playing Asics and Puma off of each other. He's reviewing the MagMax Puma sponge shoe, which has questionable durability. But he still managed to sell Puma's race shoe during his critical review. Puma's investment in Kofuzi a trip to Jamaica last year really paid dividends!
Doctors Of Running is blasting the Nike Vaporfly 4, which they say has a low volume upper that hurts their toes. Matt has also found out that his wonky mechanics are caused by an unhealed hamstring injury from long ago.

Phily Bowden is running around summer Manchester in five winter layers, jumping straight into hot baths and then entering some weird hyper baric chamber after it all to try and better heat train after London.
And in what I personally find to be truly exciting news, we finally have a YouTuber showdown. It'll be over the 10k distance: Spencer Brown AKA The Athlete Special is racing Seth DeMoor, AKA The Greatest of All Time, Still the Original Running YouTuber at the Bolder Boulder 10k!
And that's all the time we have for running YouTubers. Hoping that Seth and Spencer have a good race! 10k is a pretty even distance between Seth's aerobic strength and Spencer's speed. I say 31:45 for Spencer and 31:55 for Seth.

Spencer and Seth should wager quitting youtube. Spencer should easily win except he is injured and has declined and Seth is super compensated from Colfax half and will probably beat him.
