Aubrey (Or whatever he's calling himself now) is giving advice on Lactate threshold training in his latest video.
Probably averages 1,500 views per video but somehow is getting freebies left right and centre
To be fair the running world has been crying out for yet another (slightly slower than) average middle of the pack jogger to share their running story with us, the adoring public. I'm sure his input on lactate training is 1) useful given his immense experience, and 2) very different from everyone else's. Like the guy got invited to present at the London expo...
Crazy how low the threshold is for free stuff these days - watched a guy with about 1k subscribers unbox about 6 pairs of shoes on a recent video. Decent runner tbf but pretty boring youtube videos.

36k from youtube while the median home price in boulder is 750k - 1 million?
That's just YT income. I am sure she'll double that (a least) with sponsorship. Also, they both seem very middle-class; I am sure they get a lot of family help with the purchase.
Honestly, you'd be surprised how much value these niche shoetubers offer to brands!
I think it was mentioned before, if a shoetuber does not coach (low hanging fruit), they must be doing ok. As far as I know, Ali and Spenny don't coach

I’d LOVE to see them coach
”ok for nutrition you’re going to drink juice boxes and eat white rice with syrup on it. And then do nothing all day. Then run for 4 miles in a Luigi outfit and film it. Call mom and dad and ask for money.”
just when I thought I was starting to like seth again, he’s back on his goofy bullshiz. Driving up to a ski resort on weekday for a pointless easy run. In hi big butt silver truck he doesn’t need with an American flag posted up on it. Dropping his bobo off his coffee. Pointless kettlebell lifting on the side of the road after his run while people drive past. gosh darn it seth!
New MARM video is comedy gold. Dressing head to toe in all the influencer gear for a laugh and taking the piss out of himself throughout. Wish I had started watching his videos sooner. New Crown My Run vid is also a banger as well.

Self employed people struggle with mortgage approvals even when they have a long history of running a successful business. If I was a bank would I hand out $1m to 2 kids who run on YouTube for a living?

Honestly seeing Ben is Running's sister getting to play at influencing, with stuff like being invited to the Mizuno trip to Paris definitely makes me less likely to buy any Mizuno products! She's just tagged onto the back of Ben's popularity - I'd imagine that a huge chunk of her followers are shared with his, doesn't seem to offer much but gets to take a chunk of the marketing budget to go on international trips.
I feel like we're at peak UK runtubing now, the bubble surely has to pop soon:
Cole Running is interviewed by Bester and says that he's thinking about 2:13, 2:12, 2:11 "and quicker" for the Marathon now as he prepares for Valencia and beyond
meanwhile Ben Is Running has gone from one corporate shilling in Japan to a different brand shilling in Paris within the space of a week?? - I dont understand the willingness to just constantly pimp themselves out whenever brands come calling - they're not interested in you, only your followers, and it makes you look silly flogging literally anything
Bester runs 8:42 for 3000m and starts boomshakalaka-ing everywhere about the PR and massive comeback, despite the unmentioned fact that his 5K pace is 8:45 through 3K
Ben Is Running's Youtube friend Gabriel Smith uploads a video 'Day in the life as a self employed, non professional runner'..... so just a day as a normal person?
Anya Cullen misses her HM PR by 3mins but lords it as a great result
and Welsh Runner Matt Rees complains because he doesn't have any bicarb left for his 5K race, as he is now not only using it for races but apparently all his training sessions
At least FOD Runner just ran 15:45 as a chunky PR, having only just started to break 16 this season
