I think what will happen is Trump will eventually sign off on a bill that has more than the 1.6B for border security that he signed last time, that included fencing and other measures. Basically a continuation of the barrier measures already in place. He won’t a wall like the prototypes we’ve seen before nor the game of thrones inspired steel slats.

This is the Trump & GOP
shutdown, for three reasons...
1) both houses of Congress and the POTUS are currently controlled by the GOP.
2) Trump said he would be happy to shut the government down publicly.
3) the House and Senate sent him a bill which both parties supported which would’ve funded the entire government through February and he refused to sign it.

Yep. Trump is blaming the Fed for the economic disaster Trump created. He seems to believe that it is the Fed's job to make his tariffs work, and to give worker more money to make his corporate tax break not look like a total POS.
So much of the tax break went to stock repurchases, that artificially boosted stock values, and when those repurchases ran their course, BAM, market implosion. … The net result of the 2018 Trump economy is that it is a flatliner; actually negative for the year unless a market miracle happens next week, which Trump guaranteed will not happen by shutting the government down.
