No, I watched the legal proceedings and know there's no way any reasonable judge could let a DA who lied repeatedly under oath could possible be left on a case for anything other than political reasons.

And now this gets infinitely worse for Trump.
She stays on the case, the case moves forward and will rack up more guilty pleas (who will then testify against Trump), and she will have to replace Wade on her legal team. That means she'll replace the questionable lawyer with someone infinitely more qualified to convict Trump.
Her team will be better, not worse, by tomorrow!

2 days ago GA governor Kemp signed the bill that would allow a Georgia commission to fire prosecutors who 'they' don't like. It seems clear that this is all about trying to stop DA Willis from prosecuting these criminal RICO defendants.

Interesting opinion. Very well laid out. This judge seems to be really on the ball.
What surprises me is that a court could have the power to essentially decide the make-up of a prosecution team absent a finding of actual disqualifying conflict of interest. But it appears they do from all the cases cited.

Willis lied on the stand repeatedly. This is a fact and it is disqualifying.
The judge made a political decision to stay in office and his career is over anyway because he's being challenged in his upcoming election by a brown guy to his left in a deeply liberal and racist county.
