The state of New York puts forth universities such as Oneonta, which speaks volumes as to how its education system stacks up. New York acts like it’s a top tier Midwestern state but in reality, the state is more socialist than Canada yet lacks any reason for visiting. Kind of a shame the taxes are so high there, hopefully it discourages people from actually living in that dumpster. What a waste of electoral votes

Because having regionals on a bullshit course like this in Antarctica isn’t fair to the NJ schools lol. Ramapo would have won and TCNJ and even Rowan would have went top 5 if the race wasn’t on an iceberg. Not sure if anyone has still been following this story, but Kazakhstani refugee, Robert Abrams of TCNJ, survived long enough to get to regionals and punched his ticket to nationals today. This goes down as the first time in the modern era that a runner hailing from Kazakhstan will be competing at NCAAs. Despite being here illegally and without any legal guardian, Robert was able to excel throughout the season and managed to secure a 9th place finish today. The TCNJ fan group was actually referring to him as “Borat” our on the course today (it seemed to be all in good fun and not offensive. I vote blue so if it was offensive I would have also been offended and would have contacted the president of their school). I didn’t get a chance to interview him after the race like I did after the Mike Woods Invitational, but a TCNJ parent did let me in on a little secret. Apparently, the proper authorities ARE aware of Robert’s illegal residence in the US and will be looking into it on Monday. Do not be surprised if he gets deported back to Kazakhstan before NCAAs.
