ok, the race is on now.

Flo's Tracker stinks. Totally stuck more than 30 mins ago.

McCandless and Cabada are just playing possum. I expect them to reappear and drop a slew of 4:30 miles to finish 1-2.

Still 20+ guys in the lead pack. It's getting starting to get into the late stages of the race

He looked winded at the start. I think he's getting his stride.

Curtis caught his second wind and is now up with the lead pack of ~15.

Shalane, Cragg, Hall, and Taylor in the lead pack for the women. Goucher, Desi, and Krifchen in the chase pack.

Yeah, she's looking bad. Can't tell if it's nerves or something else...right now I can see her taking a page out of her husbands book...too fast too early and DNF. But, could just be a bad patch too...

I don't know. They're barely at 10 miles. Seems early for a bad patch, but maybe you're right. It 'looks to me like Desi is pushing the pursuit. She hasn't lost any ground since the break. Kara's probably uncomfortable

Who f cares about the scenery...and pretty sure the LA Marathon organizers who are hosting this would have been up for having the trials be in San Diego.

Indeed Ritz is listed as 112th place. Hope it is not a harbinger of things to come.

Cragg and Flanagan have dropped Taylor and Hall. Goucher and Linden look to be about 15-20 seconds back. Very interesting.
