Since the results have Matt Scott and Matt Wenaas finishing at the same time it would appear that Matt Wenaas had one of Matt Scott's chips somehow. I don't know how much impact that would have on the final scores but Delta Timing sure sucks pretty bad.

I'm less inclined to blame the timing system than I am to wonder about how this made it through the protest period and became part of the "official" results. Having a top-ten team with eight finishers should set off a lot of alarm bells-- especially when one of them is the ONLY finisher listed without split times, and two of the teams behind UW-EC are tied.
As someone who was in the meet, could it have been those damn D-loop spike chips? I know a couple guys on our team had trouble putting them on in the hotel and possibly ended up breaking them.
In college racing is the chip on the foot or the torso used to determine place? I believe all runners had both d-tags on each shoe and chips in the front and back bib.
does anyone know what brand of uniform Univ. Wisc. Stout runs in? That design is killer.

UW-Stout has a Nano Science program and Fashion Merchandising program that collaborated to design and manufacture their racing singlet and shorts. Truly custom design and new moisture managememt fabric.
Cortland's website only lists six finishers.

In going through the results you will see that Cortland only ran six runners. I'm guessing that somehow Cortland's runner got counted as Eau Claire. Because there were 280 runners which is what there should be. Anyone familiar with Cortland and know if they really only ran 6.

Grant (Wintheiser), you've had some great races this year, Although I think the Griak and Miac were a little down this year, I understand though that you would imagine yourself a top 3 guy, but I think nationals will be a bit deeper than the griak and certianly more deeper than Lacrosse.
