For Jakob, every 1500 global final since 2021. Not looking good for the "best" 1500 runner of this era. Kerr, meanwhile has a WC gold, an Olympic 1500 silver (to Ingebrigtsen's 4th) and three consecutive wins over Ingebrigtsen since 2023. Looking better for him.
So Kerr has 1 Oly Silver, Bronze and 1 WC gold. Ingebrigtsen has 1 Oly gold and 2 WC silvers. If we look solely at hardware it is close but Ingebrigtsen does win.
Why isn't Jakob a winner if you're labeling Kerr a winner with 0 (zero) Olympic gold medals?
You really have no short term memory - or any kind of memory. I've repeatedly explained why Kerr has now moved ahead of Ingebrigtsen. I can't be bothered going over it again.
Yes. You said Ingebrigtsen has not won a champ race in a couple years. However that was classified as this era. Kerr beating him 3 times in a row is good but ultimately not deciding who the best in the era is. I would not that Hocker is faster than Kerr and beat him in Paris for the Oly gold.
According to Army the only races that matters are the ones his favorite runners win. He does the same thing with Farah, with Cheptegei and with Kerr.
They are the races that matter most to the athletes, which are global championship finals and wrs.
And according to you the Olympics and world championships don't matter since all of them have lost many, many times at the world championships and Olympics
I was really excited to see what progress Kerr has made after saying he wants to win more titles and run faster times, since we're almost in April, but when I try to look up Kerrs race results for 2025 it just returns N/A. Is this a technical error, or what?

Yeah there is a glitch in the system. Kerr.exe has been having trouble running for a couple years now. Major fall off for the best of 2023.
The positive: He hasn't withdrawn from the first GST, April 2nd-4th
The negative: He was in poor fitness in his workouts 2 weeks before Millrose (shown in his latest YT video), due to what we found out was a hip problem and some illnesses Mackey mentioned. He was doing only his second workout. In the previous YT video taken 2 weeks later at Millrose, he's sick and still worried about the hip.
If everything went really great since, that'd give him about a month and a half to turn it around post-Millrose illness. It doesn't sound like December/January went well though, so unclear how great his base would be.

This is the same guy who has straight up said he doesn't compete in the Euros because it wouldn't mean anything for him to win it.
Which is a weird thing to say because if you watch the Euros, it clearly means a ton to the people competing - even the world champs. Those meets are always super fun to watch as a result. It's like NCAAs or something, much more of a team atmosphere than worlds in my opinion.
In Kerr's defense, he probably just wasn't telling the truth. He seems like he says whatever he thinks makes him come across better, regardless of whether he believes it.

It doesn't really matter if he means it or not when his actions back up what he says, he's never competed in a senior Euro championships.

That's not good. I am not the biggest Kerr fan but I want him to be healthy so we get good races with Hocker and the rest all year(and hopefully the next few as well).

I'm not expecting much from Kerr in the first GST. I can't see him being in good shape by 2nd April. But I expect he will use it to work into the season as head did back in 2023 when he started the year by finishing 10th in a DL. The first GST should be a straight shootout between Hocker and Nuguse, and Wanyonyi. Kerr might be more of a factor for the second one.

Finally the website updated! But it says Kerr ran 1:50 in the 800? That can't be right, can it? It would be incredibly embarrassing if a professional runner who talks trash to other people about them looking like a deer on ice in the 800 would put up a worse time than an average high schooler!
