Actually saw a video from his team defending the timing saying " the timing is so accurate that people were asking why he started in lane 7 when he should have started in lane 8 , but apparently there was an anomaly in the timing and it showed he hadn't run enough laps so he had to go out and run more laps." This is from his own team .
Let’s say instead a guy advertised that he would be breaking fhe world record in the 100meter and would be running it in under 9 seconds. He says he’s doing it to raise money for charity. Spends a bunch of time promoting his sub 9 second 100 meter, interviews, social media - really talks it up like he’s going to do it. Gets a big followed excited for his record breaking run. Raises a bunch of money. The day comes, everyone is watching, and he barely breaks 15 seconds in the 100. Painfully obvious he was never going to get close to breaking 10 seconds let alone 9 seconds. What does everyone think - this clown wasted our time with his lies. This is not different, it’s just taking longer to realize that this clown wasted your time with his lies.

This statement alone shows errors are being made
Absolute BS made to indicate that somehow there won't be any short cuts.
If you have all the antennae across the lanes connected to thye same decoders, it will not disctriminate the lanes. If you had separate antennae for the individual lanes then you will need RFID shielding between the lanes so as to discriminate lane detections, without which there is nothing preventing antennae 8 detecting you from even lane 2
This is the reason that he doesn't show his 'prowess' in open events, or even without locking the stadium, but put yourself out there for scrutiny and your slip ups will be noticed. keep them coming.
Why don't you bend your knee and give Goodge the ring now.
Too late, Cockerell already did it when he flew to America for Goodge and got to spend "7-minutes" completely alone with him, without the crew.
If it weren't for my downloading and analysis in the second page of this thread, you would still all be accusing Nedd of "cheating" in his Australia run. Cat got all your tongues again like when Cockerell had to apologize for falsely accusing Goodge of pilfering charity funds?
By the sound of it, no-one has been paying any attention to you, let alone your spreadsheets mate.
tell me what the legitimate issue is with what his doing? Give me a few solid points that aren’t bitterness?

Daily mileages. Goal 100mpd:
103 [started day two 30 mins early] 97 100 55 102 80 57
This 7th day was as tough and gritty as running gets in that second half, and he has zoomed along. But that is the reality - at his absolute best he found a 57 mile day.
406 miles required in 3 days and 10 hours.
The debate here is his masking toughness for world-class quality. But obese or otherwise impaired people [ie asthma] running 5 hour marathons are just as tough as this. But they don't brag about their quality, only their fighting spirit.
I wish him luck today - all plans seem to have changed. He's resting in the cool of night and doing most of his running in the hot sun in a heavy black t-shirt. What would it take for him to wear a running vest?
Exactly , what was this said anomaly. Did the timing equipment add laps on? Did they report the completed distance to ned wrong or did ned accidentally skip a lap or 2 using his "master lap system " and got caught on the live stream.
His team admitted he started in the wrong lane skipping lane 8 and was picked up on the live stream so that I assume is true.
I have zero vested in Nedd whatsoever, literally no opinion on him, but had to make an account here just to say that you lot are the textbook definition of bitter narcissists who are projecting your own insecurities onto Nedd by trying to persuade yourselves that he's just like you. He has objectively done more good than you will ever do with millions raised for the vulnerable here in Australia, and tens of thousands of Aussies who have probably never exercised in their life inspired to get off their couches and go for a jog. To so DESPERATELY try to discredit his charity efforts by claiming the money's going to him instead of Mobilise, or ripping into the timing system when most past ultra records haven't been anywhere close to this meticulously tracked, or claim that he's nothing but an "attention seeking fraudelent narcissist," it does nothing but show what you lot think about yourselves. Downvote away, but this is such a sad corner of the internet and you should all take a step away from the computer and take a long hard look at yourselves when you're working yourselves into such a moral frenzy about a guy throwing himself out there and doing some legitimate objective good in the world. Now feel free to rant away about how you heard him swear at the Sydney Marathon or how he's discrediting the "integrity of the sport," whatever that means, but hopefully one day you reflect and realise how bitter you are.
Whose time did he waste, I’ve enjoyed the last 7 days feeling motivated to do something more than I do. That’s what use don’t get.. no one cares about the record, it’s just a marker. This is the bitterness I’m talking about.
Ahaha you got downvoted already, they’re hilariously bitter and jealous.
one foot in front of the other guys, a good mental attitude, good genetics, maybe a bit of training, good diet. Use aren’t gate keeping the first rocket to mars, it’s just running 🤣😂 sad sacks. People who have achieved great things or inspire people don’t have this much passion for negativity like majority of you downvoting in the shadows cause they’re doing something!

Onwards!
When has he ever suggested he had world class “quality” rather than just toughness... His entire mantra, as corny as it is, is he’s just ordinary and people don’t realise their potential - you can push things far harder than people believe if you go to the edge. Surely everyone can at least agree he’s pushing himself to the very edge.
to the edge is an understatement, there’s days his ran 20 hours through the night while these running guru’s are dreaming about oiling up their favourite runners calves
Ned's uncomfortable challenge is not registered as not for profit charity .
Because "Nedds Uncomfortable Challenge" directs donations to Mobilise. Please find where you can supposedly donate straight to Nedds Uncomfortable Challenge? Every link takes you to contribute to Mobilise. You people are apparently GENIUS statisticians and "running historians" but can't wrap your heads around how a company promoting a charity works. Unbelievable.
........ or ripping into the timing system when most past ultra records haven't been anywhere close to this meticulously tracked,......
Actually, Kouros' many records from 24 Hours up to 1000 miles were run on either standard 400 metre tracks or accurately measured short loop courses.
The records set later in his career utilised electronic lap scoring systems.
Prior to the advent of electronic systems, lap scoring was done manually, with independent lap scorers writing each lap time on a runner's lap score sheets. Sheets were then submitted and audited upon applications for the records. Labour intensive, but not inaccurate.
In races defined by time (24 Hour, 6 Day, etc) partial lap distances are measured to the completed metre.
Sure, there are course records from 40 years ago such as the Spartathlon, but those have stood uncontested until just recently.
There were standards then and now. Nedd's event doesn't conform to either.
