Stewie has always looked a good 10k runner, but he rarely touches them. Maybe he tries 5/10k track for a year and then gets to the road for a half. He'd do well on the Aussie domestic scene if he wanted to. He probably needs new training stimulus, and he won't get that with MTC.
Ollie I don't know. Looking how he competes again Grant in the mile/1500 there's no way he'd compete over 5k. And Ollie is a guy who wants to be at the front end of races.

Agreed - if you look at pictures from workouts, you've got 800-1500m guys, 1500-5000m guys, 5000-10,000m guys and marathoners all running together doing the same 8x1k session. Surely that workout can't be ideal for at least one of those event groups
I went back and listened to FTK after Brett ran 2:08 in Fukuoka - just wanted something easy listening during a workout and I forgot Brett had run 2:07 the year before.
Holy hell Joel was immensely annoying even at this point.
"Let's go through your race at Fukuoka and I'll try not to interupt with dumb questions" (he's somewhat self aware I guess)... interupts 20 seconds in to mention "one of my athletes raced on the weekend". Non-stop interuptions for the rest of Brett's recap.
