Ok, so you sound like a gamete supremacist on competitive sport but perhaps gender affirmist outside of competitive sport. On bathrooms, the gamete supremacists are usually concerned about testicles invading women’s bathrooms but not the other way round; gender affirmists don’t care either way.
Does equity mean something other than fairness?
Why do labels matter so much to you? And why are you attempting to label me, or classify me according to how such labels "usually act"? Is this how you debate? Attack the person instead of the issue at hand?
Huh? Labels simply make it easy to efficiently exchange thoughts. It’s done in academic discourse all the time for the save reason. Why do you think calling someone “gamete supremacist” is attacking them? Isn’t that what you implied you are? Is saying someone is “pro choice” or “pro life” attacking them?
There is no “usually act” assumption here like there is with “liberal” or “conservative”; “gamete supremacist” is clearly an issue-specific qualifier.
Typical. Happy to throw one group under the bus at the expense of another.
Sounded like you cared about people, but just another bigot.
In case it wasn’t clear, I care zero what you think.
As much as you care about people with DSDs, then? Delightful.
Imagine being informed that a lot of the members of a group of highly marginalized people don't appreciate being instrumentalized in the way you're doing, and responding that you don't care ... while at the same time claiming to care about marginalized people.
But the point isn't whether you care (although going by this thread, it sure seems like you care an awful lot about what others think). Rather, the hope is that other, more open-minded people will see this exchange and perhaps think twice before doing what you're doing.
Have a nice evening, everybody (or whatever time of day it happens to be in your part of the world)!

Can’t care to even read your long blather. Go court someone else’s attention.
Nobody is saying that one example of two trans runners in 2022 California HS cross country alone constitutes the end of women's sport. But the thinking behind advocating their inclusion is what worries people. The slope here is slippery, and my injustice meter blares at decisions like these. If the madness doesn't stop... yes, women's sports are threatened.
I think that my sample was 100% of the trans girl XC runners in California. If anybody knows others, we can include them in my “population”. A 20:42 trans runner does not threaten anything (other than in your mind). It seems that as soon as the hormones kick in, their performance fall off a cliff.
Allowing her to run may make her feel better however.
Athena may have intentionally bombed this year after the uproar over taking spots at state last track last season. Participation is one thing, but taking competitive spots and awards from biologic females is not acceptable. If trans individuals were simply participating, there would be no uproar (other than if they are trying to share a locker room). When they take awards, varsity spots, etc. from deserving females, they cross a line. Individuals who abide by such behavior are dishonorable.

Why should boys be allowed to compete in girls competitions?

Should we start asking for medical records for all at the start line?

Why should boys be allowed to compete in girls competitions?
Girls are allowed to compete in boy’s competitions because they are not displacing anyone from a starting position or preventing any male from winning an award. It should be like auditing a class. They can do it, but they should be barred from scoring.

Boys/mens athletic competitions are open to everyone.
Girls/womens have to be limited to females due to the biological advantages males have in strength, speed, quickness

This may be the case in California and other "liberal" places. But in Texas, a trans boy is not allowed to play a boy's role in a school musical theater.
This student does not have any unfair advantage, and does not pose any danger to other students. His existence itself is morally unacceptable to many people there. 55% of Americans (84% of Republicans) think changing one's gender is morally unacceptable.
Americans are less supportive than two years ago of transgender athletes being allowed to play on sports teams that match their current gender identity.
Legislators in more than 20 states have introduced bills this year that would ban transgender girls from competing on girls’ sports teams in public high schools.
Mack Beggs (born 1999) is an American former high school wrestler from Euless, Texas. Beggs is a trans man. State athletic rules only allowed him to compete in the league for the sex he was assigned at birth. In 2017, he defe...

Therefore, shouldn’t we expect one or two sub 15min Trans girls (approx 100 HS guys run sub 15) and 15 to 20 sub 16min Trans girls (I assume that >1000 HS kids run sub 16).
So shouldn’t it be impossible to qualify for FL if you run slower than 16:30.
