Kipyegon could have easily run a 3:51 or better. they took it out in 2:11. What is that like 4:05 pace for more than the first half of the race? Jakob's race most likely doesn't look like that. But maybe? He appears confident in the kick.

Girma too confident or not confident enough, i don't know. He didn't have to push the pace having the fastest finish. He rabitted El Bakkali who raced perfectly following Girma the whole race.
