Isn't the even bigger problem with this current conspiracy theory that the director of the FBI was appointed by Trump? Probable cause to conduct a search is very different than Trump actually having incriminating evidence laying around his house. They won't find anything.
Ask yourself this - was Hillary Clinton treated less harshly than Trump by DOJ when it came to her non-Govt. email server when Secretary of State? Were her deleted emails fully investigated?
Is it fair to say Dems & DOJ don't want Trump to run in 2024? Are they using harassing tactics that weren't used on Nixon?
Was Bush/Cheney investigated as fully by DOJ as they should have?
