What do we think the rest of the week will bring to the markets? I'm pulling for big tech. Go big tech!!
On a running related note, we participated in a remote running event on the weekend, which was a lot of fun, but very painful. There were various distances, but we chose 5 k (I'm a wimp), which was showing as ~ 5.2 k on the online route map, and included a 92 m ascent (!) in the 4th km, followed by 88 m descent (!) in the final km. I managed 20:47, which my old creaky brain converts to 13-low for a flat accurate course. :-) OK, maybe somewhere between 18:45-19:30, depending on what the actual length was. The hill was real. Not bad for me at 55, better than the last "race" effort I reported in the summer at ~ 20:04, but still a long way off the good old days.
It was nice to be in the company of a bunch of other people (~ 20-30), none of them serious runners, on a warm sunny day. We all wore masks when hanging about (not while "racing"), in case anybody's worried about my health...
