Hey there, Ghost--can you find a source for this besides the obvious lying s.o.s. press secretary? Of course not because, literally, it's not true. Was a tiny amount of WHO money (of which a tiny fraction of that was from the U.S.) possibly earmarked to support life-saving safer-sex practices in a war-torn region? Yes. Does making condoms available to people in these regions--if this was even happening--help preclude accidental pregnancies, hospital visits in an already overburdened healthcare system, and future suffering? Yes. So for what is an extremely low price--again, if this was even happening--a penny of my taxes was possibly going to reduce human suffering and demonstrate American largesse on the world stage. That's an expense that thinking people are generally okay with.
