Is this really a dangerous secret? A document a couple years old that contains information that probably every concerned nation already knew? It’s likely a document on either Iran or North Korea. My guess is Kerry had all that information when he was meeting with the Iranians during Trump’s presidency.

Other documents described highly sensitive intelligence work aimed at China, they said. The Post has also reported that some of the material focuses on the defense systems of a foreign country, including its nuclear capabilities.

The conclusion about Trump's ego-driven retention of the docs and the WaPo statement about nuclear information are not necessarily inconsistent. It seems that the intelligent thing to do is to wait for the special counsel's report, assuming he details the docs in his final report.
Judge Cannon's rulings are increasingly bizarre. This Order on the Special Master needlessly complicates and delays things for no real reason. This is a search warrant, FFS. Can you imagine if every search warrant in the country had to go through all these procedures?
I think she is trying to be tough on the government in this high profile case. But the time to do that is way down the road at trial, in the event we ever get there. Right now she is just jamming things up and delaying proceedings. Halting a criminal investigation because the defendant claims he's innocent?!?! No other defendant in the US will ever get this kind of relief on a search warrant -- although tens of thousands of defense lawyers will surely be trying to going forward.
The 11th Circuit put a stop to the Special Master nonsense.
“We cannot write a rule that allows any subject of a search warrant to block government investigations after the execution of the warrant. Nor can we write a rule that allows only former presidents to do so.”
Not sure what they do now, after wasting all that time dancing around with the Special Master. Back to square one?

And it looks like the entire case filed by Trump is dismissed. Gone. "REMAND with instructions for the district court to DISMISS the underlying civil action."
