Neither my town nor my No Kings location on Saturday have ICE action. I'm actually kind of disappointed. I really would like to speak my mind to a bunch of cowardly tough guy thugs in coward masks. I somewhat envy the Americans in targeted cities who get the opportunity to do that.

On the other hand, to the extent that America MIGHT be smart enough to vote against the GOP if the GOP is obvious enough about their malignancy, such words could be useful. It might be HORRIBLY naive at this point, but I still have a TINY bit of optimism that at least a FEW people who voted for Trump in 2024 will vote against the GOP next year when they're hearing Trump and the administration say that anyone who's against Trump/GOP is a freaking terrorist.
Could we JUST be a smart enough country to react to JUST THAT appropriately ?!?!?!?

I'm feeling some real buzz around No Kings. Word is that one reason the Dems aren't really negotiating to reopen the government is that if there is a massive turnout that might weaken the backbones of all those Rs in pink districts who don't want to be too close to Trump.
Make the Rs think they need to start being normal again if they want to avoid a total blue wave next year. Millions in the streets can do that.
