Shortly after we began walking, together Robert started to run. We covered the next mile at about 9 minute pace with him gradually increasing the speed. He asked if he was going too fast and I told him I had a 100 miler coming up and wanted to run closer to the pace for that event. Robert then blasted off running the next mile at or around seven minutes, he slowed slightly, got a drink from the RV than began walking shortly afterwards. I plugged along at 10:30 per mile pace, and within a mile (32 minutes from when we began walking together) we were back together three miles down the road and walking again.

I read this and thought, What a jerk. Then I reread it and thought, What an idiot.

Props to Ray and Laz.

Double word. Exactly what people predicted would happen at the beginning of the thread. A painful end with no record and more inquiry into the first 2/3rds of this sham is imminent.

The problem with this business model is only that people have to give $200000 to that charity. That is very unlikely to happen.

Robert Young has 50.000 facebook fans but didn't somebody here pointed out that most of them are bought profiles. And I doubt that his 500 dedicated "He did it for the kids" fans will shell out $200000.

People continue to exaggerate here, saying 100F etc and it does not help the case. The case is best if we stick to good data.

I thought that was good data. I went off other posts for the details. I've posted the original for anyone to edit a few posts back.

Sorry. The correct answer is ZERO.

You know Robbie that the 35:58 10K you did at around 6,800 ft. altitude near Williams, Arizona is the equivalent of about a 34:11 10K at sea level, which is a 5:30 pace. A 34 minute 10K effort included in a 70 mile day, after many other 70 mile days in the desert…Come on Robbie Rekrunner!!!!

Do we have any idea what Robbie's 'true' 10K PR or 'true' 10K ability is based on other 'real' races?

I do not think he could run a 10k in 34 minutes even if he was trained, rested, and fresh. Let's see it Robbie.

Robbies's form is starting to look sloppy…just like the British Mo Farah.
