What Dump finally realized is that the U.S. was selling equipment that was past the use-by-date. Keeping the old stuff meant that military contractors could not build fancier, newer replacements. Military contractors finally penetrated Trump's empty skull. He was at risk of losing bigly donations from those contractors.

What I do see from Steven Sund, Chief of Capitol Police on January 6, 2021 during the MAGA Capitol riot, is the following testimony he gave to the US Senate:
