I'm not looking forward to midterms.
I'm more looking forward to people working together sooner rather than later, regardless of party.
Trump is not going to unify anyone, so the quicker he goes, or at least loses any influence on his ability to lead, the better.
Right now I think he has lost influence to push his agenda because of his self inflicted wounds.
He's either really dumb about the optics of his comments and decisions or he actually did collude with Russia and is trying to cover it up.

the problem with trump going is that all that would do is put a competent president in place, who believes with passion that billionaires need tax cuts and the poor shouldn't have healthcare. Pence is a former MC - he knows how to get things done. At least trump is so much of a sideshow that congress has been waylaid and can't get much done.
after midterms maybe the house will flip and then the dems can start pushing back.

Mueller's investigation will take a long time, likely years; however, the FBI's investigation has been going on for months and the GOP will eventually try to save the brand and make an effort to remove Trump even before Mueller's investigation is complete.
A new Trump-friendly FBI directer is not going to save him. It's far too along at this point. The MSM reporting is weeks behind and trying to play catch up to what others have been saying for weeks, even months.

As many have said, we need to see the full picture and all of the evidence before coming to any definitive conclusions. At this point, I'd guess there is maybe a 20% chance Trump gets impeached or is forced to resign. I think this will hurt him and the GOP politically but he'll survive. Some of his associates are almost certainly going to jail though.
