You can't have a meaningful conversation with someone who isn't interested in having a meaningful conversation. You can't win an argument because their motivation is to extend the argument indefinitely until the mark simply gives up or loses their cool, not to make a sensible point.

The best thing to do, and this is very difficult sometimes, is to recognize these people for being the pathetic creatures that they are and denying them the gratification that comes with any response at all.
