Finally, unlike Trump supporters, I am willing to stop support of ANYONE based on what they do. I haven't been an Avenatti supporter anyway other than he did well getting the truth out there about Trump and Cohen. But, if it is proven that he abused a woman, I will have lost all respect for him.
Any glee Trump supporters have over this is ridiculous. Avenatti's behavior has NOTHING to do with Trump's behavior. We could find out that Avenatti is a serial killer who ate his victims, and that would not absolve Trump of his own crimes.
I see that as a general difference between Democrat supporters and Republican supporters.
Democrats will generally stop supporting one of their own if they do something wrong. Republicans defend them to the death.
Dems weren't proud of Bill Clinton's behavior. He was wrong to mess with an intern. They threw Al Freanken under the bus.
Took down Blagojevich. (Then Trump put him on The Apprentice and spoke of commuting his corruption sentence. Trump loves corruption).
Republicans will defend all of Trump's actions.
They re-elected Republican Duncan Hunter in California who has been indicted on corruption charges.
They re-elected Republican Chris Collins in New York who has been indicted on insider trading charges.
Hey! At least you got your username right in this post.
