Look at the Hartwick Fast course 5k. Is it just me or did Oneonta run unreal times for their freshman, especially the women! They have to be in the running for an NCAA bid.

Oneonta men had two freshman sub 16:10!

Yeah at the top of the results page you'll see 55 no wind "good footing". The good footing part is because its on Hartwicks track. I guess if it was on Oneontas track it'd be "great footing". So add 30 seconds on to the mens and womens results and that might be more realistic.

that is a good showing for geneseo, men and women. The women didn't run their top 3, Montgomery, Marks, and Goettleman.

Montgomery is not in their top ten right now but nice try.

Liz Montgomery won't be in Geneseo's top 3 unless she gets back to her 2007 form, which looks like it won't happen until the end of the season (if at all).

What is wrong with Buffalo? They have scholarships, facilities and the lure of being DI and they wouldn't finish in the top 4 of the SUNYAC. Geneseo went 1-8 on Buffalo's first guy and Fredonia stuck it to them too. This means the Plattsburg probably could and Cortland without a doubt could beat buffalo. I don't know if this says more about the SUNYac being great or Buffalo being awful, maybe its a bit of both.

UB is where Western NYers with potential go to have their running careers die. Not all of them do poorly, but certainly most of them do.

If you look at it closely, the 15 point gap turns around in 4 seconds. That's narrowly in most XC books.

i think he was talking about guys. after turner they have had no great runners with exception of hunkavic's one season. they have had a bunch of solid runners in the area of ~15 5k ~top 15 at regionals and although their xc team has made it to NCAAs each of the last 6/7? years they have only had one NCAA track qualifier since turner/beck.

geneseo "b" wins brockport 5k over brockport on the men's side, wasn't told women's results. apparently haskell ran and won in around 15:50ish (not 100% sure on the time). couldn't find results anywhere.

RIT ran at SUNY Cobleskill today. Can't find any of the results anywhere, except that the men and women both won pretty easily.

Not a spectacular showing...Burdick off the back. Miller (31:30s 10k) well back, and Kurvach also behind. No Lowe.

Definitely a top 7 or 8 team, but no threat for nationals.

How is it that Lauren Mesi is still racing? She ran 2 years at Geneseo and now this is her third cross season at Brockport.
