The only person who went to bat for Seth was his mother, who sent a damning email to Iowa State, stating that her son would never use EPO. He was wrongfully terminated by a jealous teammate with a vendetta. Why has no one ever defended Seth? The only people who will come to Seth's defense are men and women who never had the chance to even dream about making a Power 5 roster. It's the 30-minute 5K runners who are worried about the big, scary internationals of the NCAA, so what Seth has done seems less troublesome because "if someone can be 30 and still competing in the NCAA, how else is he going to compete to make the roster." That’s hilarious. A silver spoon spoiled brat gets exposed for doping and “you don’t know what he’s been through.” Oh yes the adversity of growing up rich and entitled and the humiliating stress of being exposed as a cheat.
But both colleges are in the NCAA. If he was kicked off of one for doping, he would be ineligible for all NCAA schools.

Why wouldn’t I hate him? Imagine you’re a miler at MIT or Carnegie Mellon. You’re getting absolutely crushed with work, and yet you’re still showing up to practice every day, putting in the miles, running in the snow and the rain.

That's a really naive take.
It’s not naive, it’s downright stupid trolling. Everyone knows that you aren’t instantly banned the moment you take a substance. There are investigations and sometimes even testing going on in the background before the ban is announced. with today’s litigious society everything has to be done in a way that can withstand legal battles if necessary.
It is pretty obvious that the kid obviously F’d up beyond belief. He was kicked off the ISU team, he left school thinking he could save face and still compete. He clearly made little or no friends at ISU as not one teammate has spoken up for him under their real name. It’s no different at Rowan. Not a single teammate will speak up for him under their name. I’m guessing here, but I’d bet a significant number of those rooting against him are former ISU teammates and current Rowan teammates that think it’s BS he is allowed on the team and able to compete.
With what has now come out and been seen, there is no doubt this will not end in Seth’s favor. It is in his best interest to come clean, but he likely doesn’t have any integrity in him at all. He is mentally weak, and physically weak without the drugs coursing through his veins.
