He’s the GOAT regardless of whether I defend him or whether you disagree. Even if I said he wasn’t (what a ridiculous statement), he would still be the GOAT. That’s what’s happens when you’re the GOAT.
I do love how it angers you so much. lol.
Federer is the GOAT.
Nole has the most grand slam titles and overall weeks at #1... by a lot.
Nothing against Federer, and he certainly has a case alongside Nadal and almost nobody else. But the anti-Novak rhetoric here has to be trolling. Sinner and Alcaraz are rolling in hot and it should be a good final (Caritos is better on grass but who is to say; think how Nadal evolved his game beyond clay where he is unquestionably the greatest player ever).
Enjoy the Anisimova - Swiatek final here shortly. Can we all at least agree Amanda's story is great and it was nice to see her dispatch that screaming Belarusian pile of turpitude who even tried to intimidate her in the final set after a net point.
I would note also Nadal's style of play is extremely physically demanding. There are anecdotes from players and commentators, but one data point was how much spin he put on the ball. Something absurd like 3200 average rpm topspin peaking at 5k, which was like 1.5 that of Federer. That alone doesn't make him better than Roger, but speaks to his French Open dominance and grueling style to the point where it is a miracle Nadal didn't crumble or start smoking meth with Agassi by 25

Federer is certainly one of the all-time greats. He’s just not the GOAT anymore.
And this is coming from someone who loved Federer’s game (so elegant, so effortlessly graceful) and he is probably my favorite player (I was there for his R-G win). But I’m smart enough and honest enough to know the Djokovic is the GOAT now.
I actually don’t like Djokovic’s style of play. It’s extremely effective (he is the GOAT), but not as artistic as Fed’s. And I’m not a big fan of his personality either. Although, the interviews he’s given a R-G and this past week have shown a different, more appealing side.
Bottom line is no matter my personal feelings for him, it doesn’t stop me from being able to admit that he is the indisputable GOAT.

If you have to argue about something for 20 pages it’s not really “indisputable” is it?
Theres plenty of people disputing you right on this board.

I’m sorry this angers you. Djokovic is the GOAT, obviously.
You can keep arguing with me without facts for 20 more pages, but it won’t change the truth. Djokovic is the GOAT.
Can you at least bring an argument next time? This is getting boring. Don’t make me call the zookeeper.
This is what Harambe thinks is the criteria for the GOAT.
“A 'GOAT' should not be based on results, but instead on "who has inspired lots of people to do something with their life"
No wonder Harambe has a problem with Djokovic being the GOAT. He doesn’t think it should be based on results. You can’t make this stuff up.
I don't know who this Harambe guy is but he's clearly a tosser
It's hard to argue against Nole being GOAT. He's like if Walter Payton played 7 more years while making semifinals consistent until he was 38 darn it I really don't like this Harambe stooge. Let's also appreciate Fed and Nadal, maybe Borg is a Gale Sayers or Pekka Vasala comp
Really sad for Amanda today, but great for Iga. Let's have a good match tomorrow with Sinner and Alcaraz!

Harambe was doxxed (not something I approve of) as basically a P.E. teacher near the beginning of this thread. We’re not dealing with the smartest of gorillas. Lol

And supported by "world No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas".
I doubt he’s still #5.
Do you believe results shouldn’t matter too?
Results are one important criterion.
I only looked for evidence of it being a matter of debate -- and it is something that is still debated in 2025, including among world ranked tennis players.

C’mon. Results are THE most important criteria. And Djoker’s results are far above anyone else’s.
Harambe says results are not important at all. Do you agree with him?

Plenty of people argue against Chokervic being the GOAT.
It’s the people desperate to avoid the the debate. To assert that he is with no dissenting opinions. Those peoples desperation belies the lack of confidence they have in their own “GOAT”

Results are important but not the sole criteria. Chokervic has generally faced weaker competition. Chokervic is a known heavy doper. These all factor in

I’m so confident that Djokovic is the GOAT that I don’t need to defend him.
Get your story straight gorilla. Several times you said I’ve defended Djoker being the GOAT (which he is, obviously) and now you’re saying I’m avoiding the debate.” lol
What a strategy you have. Throw whatever you can at the wall and see what sticks. I thought gorillas (and P.E. teachers) were tough. At least put up a little bit of a fight.

Weaker than….?
Proof of doping?
Remember our previous conversation that just saying something doesn’t make it a fact. Like saying Nadal had a “stately, elegant, normal decline.” No matter how many times you say it. It can never be true.
