Here's an interesting take from Megan (hopefully you read this while lurking). On her Strava account -
"... if you are referring to my body weight (?) being at pre-pregnancy that’s funny. For free riding, no pregnant woman should have to sequentially add to their weight every week and subtract after delivery every week. For racing, yes."
So, she admits she is knowingly riding at the incorrect weight, and continues to do so. It doesn't matter because it's not a race. If it didn't matter to them, they wouldn't record each other on their bikes bragging about all the KOMs they are getting, touting that Megan is getting KOMs while 9 months pregnant, etc. It clearly does matter. Also, Megan claims to be so supportive of women, but here is she is potentially depriving other women of KOMs they could be claiming because it would make her feel bad to change her weight. Maybe it would have been their first KOM -- it could have changed their lives. Yes, it's just a cycling based gaming platform, but it shows the hypocrisy extends just as much to Megan as well. As I've said before, if you're willing to cheat on something that "doesn't matter", what else are you willing to do.
I don't know if I am even allowed to say this, because as we saw with Jason Koop and the Spring gel incident, if a man says something negative to Megan it's bullying.
