Any info on if they have made any progress on this job? It's too bad that this University Athletic Department has never gotten it together to become a destination team for in-state talent. Even if it was poorly coached, that could be remedied, but it seems the problems are bigger than that, i.e. funding, athletic dept. culture, etc. Any news?
man you can say that about so many programs though
Quit posting this stuff! No need to run someone's reputation into the ground! Be better! These are the kinds of posts that follow coaches and you do not know the facts at all!
Not hard to find articles stating they’re headed for the same fate as so many other institutions. Financial issues galore… With the amount of kids on the portal cutting the program may be the next step.

Neither of those posts were about a coach, they were about Athletic Departments that don't have their acts together and are in a constant state of failing/flailing.
Now I want you to do better, at reading comprehension. Nothing written in those posts are following any coach anywhere.

I interviewed there a couple years back. Admin people seemed nice but the incredible drawback was how they expected the coach to raise money. Browns Games in the fall - every home game, as many Cavalier games as you could and some Indians games. I just could not imagine going to even a day XC meet with a short drive then coming back and getting the kids to go work a pro football game in a concession stand - from pick up to drop off easily a 8 hour day. No one - not even a 25 year old is going to survive that fro very long and frankly neither are the kids.
Idaho’s throws coach had a decent showing at Big Sky this past weekend, and he’s only part time. Really only goes to the conference meets. IF they could pull him from his full time job, that would be great hire for the program, BUT they’d have to pay him significantly, as he has a good paying job already. Doubt that happens
