Whether it is Coach Wareham or an alumni state champion coach (whose team is way better than the Oles and could bring some of them with him) now is the time for the Oles to make their move. With the talent in the junior class, this could be a podium team next year. The administration owes the team an upgrade after breaking promises five years ago.

An alumni duo of Thornton and Kirkpatrick would be spicy. They would definitely win the triple crown of MIAC championships in under two years.

Dumb strategy by Power. Luckily the Oles responded too salvage top 10, but had they raced smarter they could have been a podium team. Seems a waste of a very talented group. Hoping for a change soon.

The oles comfortably exceeded expectations from the beginning to end of this season and are the MIAC's first top 10 finishing team in quite some time. Mo becomes Augsburg's first all american ever and is now the favorite for next year. And uh, Calvin Gabe and Roy got to run at nationals. Very good day for the MIAC

Bocovich must really like terrible conditions. Ran really well at the national meet in Michigan in the snow and ran well today in the water at D2 nats to lead his team to a National championship. Not quite Wilkinson level, but always great to see MIACers help schools in the higher divisions become better.

Congrats to the Ole runners on a great season and strong national meet. Not going to change my mind that they need a non-frat bro who understands the science of running to be in charge. If a Ricks, Salmella, or even a Monson I’d think they could challenge a Whitewater. And maybe even the cultural bastion of education, Wartburg.

The board hates success and really seems to hate coaches who have success. When I log on and see threads hating on Brosnan, Diljeet Taylor, Mike Smith, and Dave Smith that says a lot. I’m sorry so many of you are unhappy in life you have to fixate on these things. I’m sure it does make you feel better about yourself and your career, but I think a nice long run and some therapy would help all of you. Best wishes in your Turkey Trots.

The fact that you lumped Brosnan into a group with Taylor and the Smiths shows why this board is ridiculous. Such a dumb statement opens up Brosnan to unfavorable feedback, but when you say something so outlandish, it deserves a response that thin skinned people don't like.

People are not only hating on Brosnan, but the athletes he coaches. Like in the post about Nico above

Outsiders & "the alumni" are the ones constantly belittling Power on here. What matters is, are the current athletes on his team happy, buy into the program, and have success, in that order. Obviously, most of us can't know, but it sure appears like a yes for all three this season.
