Ingebrigtsen really looked to be not feeling great. He did an amazing job to pull that one out. I think if they had even run 10 seconds faster, he might not have had enough.
I'd try to get her down to 48 in the 400m, and go from there.

what a bunch of wheeeening people in here. Jakob just said on norwegian tv he was proud of winning this, while not feeling well the last four days. And it is a fantastic accomplicement to win here, in this heat, while not being 100%. That says everything about how great an athlete he is. Whatever body language he does, you find some suspicious mean interpretation from it. I dont care. Norway is proud of one of the worlds best ever runners

She should try because she could potentially break the WR. She could get that at hurdles, but the 800 record is legendary and breaking it would be too.

I liked the way Jemma Reekie and Nia Akins tried to go with the lead three. They got run down by Raevyn Rogers, but they were in the mix. The same thing happened to Jemma Reekie at the Olympics when she went with Mu and Hodgkinson and got pipped at the finish by Rogers.

‘76, ‘92, ‘04, ‘16, ‘21 Olympic finals for starters. Also just sounds weird to call them girls. Like saying Marco Arop won the boys’ race.
